Church/church group/individuals requesting material for services, worship, study or teaching:
- If you do NOT have a Copyright Licensing Agency’s Churches’ Copyright Licence†: YES
Please fill in the request form below.
- If you DO have a CLA’s Churches’ Copyright Licence†: NO
Formal permission is not needed provided the following credit line is used: "Extract from [title of poem/book] copyright [year], [author name] published by [Baker Academic Books/Bethany House/Brazos Press/Chosen/Revell] (as applicable). Used with permission of Baker Publishing Group."
† A Copyright Licensing Agency’s Churches’ Copyright Licence is NOT the same as the CLA’s music licence, but is operated by the same agency and enables churches to reproduce any written material consistent with the terms of the licence without requesting further permission from publishers. It can be obtained from the Copyright Licensing Agency.
How Do I Apply?
Please complete the following form. We aim to reply within 4 weeks of receiving a request but may not always be able to do so. Requests which do not come to us in the format specified here may take longer to process.
